Forest Academy Shines in Naz Legacy Foundation Dragons’ Den Challenge

On July 14th, 2025, The Forest Academy proudly hosted the Naz Legacy Foundation’s Dragons’ Den Program event designed to inspire youth innovation and social impact. This exciting initiative brought together students, educators, and industry professionals for a day of pitching, collaboration, and community building.

We were delighted to welcome 28 pupils from Years 10 and 12 at The Forest Academy, as well as visiting students from Caterham School, who joined us in presenting their creative solutions for driving community cohesion.

Held in the spirit of innovation and community action, the Dragons’ Den Program gave our students the chance to pitch their ideas for social impact projects to a panel of expert “Dragons”, real-life entrepreneurs, business leaders, and changemakers.

The results were outstanding!

Three of our four student teams secured £500 in seed funding to bring their projects to life! Each proposal focused on building community cohesion, tackling issues such as isolation, youth engagement, and cultural understanding

What’s Next!

Our winning teams will now begin the next stage of implementing their social action projects with the support of their funding and mentors.
