A group of Year 9 pupils visited Cambridge University, Magdalene College, for an aspirational day filled with setting personal goals, as well as getting an insight into the day in the life of a University student.

Our pupils took part in a range of different activities that challenged them to ‘think like a university student’. They were giving tools on how to approach unfamiliar questions and finally, our students were giving advice on which combinations of ‘A level’ would allow them to study at a top university.

The sessions followed by an amazing tour around Magdalene college. After lunch, the students visited the Raymond Briggs Exhibition at the University Library.

Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They all left feeling extremely motivated about the prospects of studying at a top university like Cambridge !
