Yesterday, 6 students took part in a language competition where they performed a dialogue in either French or Spanish. They all worked really hard and the year 7 boys, Anthony Carteret and Syed Ali won gold, easily beating the competition. The year 8 girls Casryn Correa, Tahsin Hossain, Madeeha Juel and Hajra Shafiq performed really well after hours of rehearsals with a lot of competition. Casryn and Tahsin got bronze in the year 8 Spanish competition.
It was an inspiring afternoon celebrating languages.
