TFA were represented at this Redbridge workshop by year 7 and year 10 students.

Our year 10 students felt that the training felt connected and reassured that individuals experiencing mental health issues have such diverse backgrounds and unique challenges, but the underlying theme was that no one is ever alone and there is always help available. They were pleased to see the panelists were successful , having come through personal mental health issues. They all stepped out of their comfort zone and spoke to the professionals about the organizations they represented and what support they offered, so they could spread the messages back at school and they also made new friends from other schools .

The year 7 students also found the activities useful and shared coping mechanisms with other schools and learned a lot of new techniques in the process.
