Five Year 8 students visited Kensington Palace with the Naz Foundation.  The purpose of the visit was to provide opportunities for our students to  self-reflect, be curious and positive about our heritage.

Our students were involved in pre-visit activities which connected with the stories and spaces of Kensington Palace with the deep global cultural history. One of the highlights was visiting the beautiful gardens and meeting the gardeners who helped plan the memorial to Princess Diana. Our students enjoyed learning about the many job opportunities which exist in a palace, from archivists to chefs. Students read poems they wrote titled, ‘My Heritage’ and our students were commended for the high quality. They were also congratulated for their superb engagement and contributions throughout the day and the organisers were so impressed with  our students that they gifted them free passes to visit any Palace in London – well done Year 8, we are immensely proud of your achievements!
